Noah Patrick Jent

August 13th, 2008

It has been a rough couple of weeks for my wife and I. Little Noah was born on Friday August 1 after 3 days of my wife being induced. He was a big healthy looking baby.

But by Sunday morning he still had not pooped. This was a problem that had to be diagnosed at the Children’s Medical Center. After a week of being separated and my wife being totally stressed out. We were finally told that he has Hirschsprung’s disease like I do. He did finally poop that Sunday afternoon and he seems to be normal and healthy now. They will likely do the surgery when he is a bit older. Hopefully it all goes well and he can live a normal life like I have.

Hello from Rome

September 25th, 2007

Having a great time on our honeymoon. I decided to post a little update while Leah, my wife!, watches some TV to relax.

We just got back to Rome from Florence. It had a great view and lots of great sculpture and art. We found this great place to eat that sold kabob burritos. We ate there twice. We saw so much art some it seemed to blur past us. Seeing Michaelangelo’s David was amazing and seeing some of the reliqueries was great too. Such as the Saint Peters chains.

I also enjoyed all the great art here in Rome. Well, in the Vatican really. The Vatican museum had some awesome paintings. And seeing all the art which they put into the chapels and the tombs built under and throughout them is great.

But anyway, the wedding went perfectly. We had alot of fun and our families seemed to enjoy themselves as well. I’ll try to get a few good pictures on here soon after we get home to the states. Maybe then I’ll finally get some time to animate and start living my wonderful new life with my favorite person, my wife.

Engagement

December 20th, 2006

I recently proposed to my girlfriend Leah back in November. The original post was lost. But you can check out the details of our engagement on the new wedding blog I set up for us. I hope our life together is as wonderful as it has been thus far.

New Bed

January 28th, 2006

I’m going out today to shop for a new bed, my old bed has many broken wires poking up through the mattress. Maybe I’m cheap, maybe I just like to use something until all the use spills out the bottom in balls of ripped up fabric, but I know I can’t use this bed anymore. Its caused alot of sleepless nights lately. As for my work at AM, I think I’m good for this week’s assignment. It could probably be better. I just don’t know what I’m doing yet. I might do some more “excitement” poses later tonight. I did redo last week’s pose:
Pose!

Foot Injury

January 24th, 2006

I woke up on Monday with a pain in my foot when I stood on it. I thought maybe it was just something minor like I hit it on something. A quick look around shows that my desk is now at the foot of my bed. I recently rearranged my room to improve workflow. I suffered through a day of work and it was looked swollen. I suffered through another day of work today which seemed worse than the first. So, now I’m thinking its broken. I’m gonna take off work tomorrow and get it checked out.
I hope it gets better soon, but it is interesting how much my walk has changed. I’ll try to remember for when I start animating unique walks. Because my weight can’t shift to that part of my foot anymore without pain, my other foot hurts from solely standing on it all day. I’ve got ice on it now, maybe it’ll take down the swelling.

Christmas DVDS

January 1st, 2006

I got some cool movies for christmas from my favorite person.
I now own most of the Pixar movies. Anyway, I can’t wait to watch all
the special features. In other news my loans have been approved. I’m
still waiting for my registration info to finish registration. Classes
start on the ninth. I’m getting eager to get started. Happy New Year
everyone.
